The LAGOON Story

We are a New York City-based start-up born to disrupt the $30+Bn worldwide HR consulting industry through a cloud-based collaborative software with a simplified UX, to attract the best talent in a cost and time effective manner. With a digital, fractured and expensive process the sector is up for disruption and we want to lead it all the way. It is time for recruiting!

In 2017 we jumped the Atlantic ocean and established in New York City. It took us one year to put together a team, a strategy and capital to create this new wonderful project: Lagoon Recruiting

Virginia Laguna

Virginia is an entrepreneur on the Human Resources industry with experience in Europe and America. She has helped companies since 2012 as freelancer in some of the fastest growing industries: Pharma and NGOs. She started her career as an attorney for a Real State company in Madrid, Spain. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Madrid’s Complutense Law School (With Honors Cum Laude 2010) and she speaks fluently three languages: English, French and Spanish.

She runs the day to day operations and leads all the operational aspects of Lagoon, with responsibility for the full lifecycle excellence of the recruiting services.

Ramon Lucia

As one of the Lagoon’s founders, Ramon acts as an advisor and oversees the corporate finance and strategic initiatives. He brings his experience in managing the Supply Chain and Operations at one of the world’s leading Consumer Products companies for 10+ years in Paris, Madrid and New York. He is also co-founded another tech start-up, my FBA Logistics, that helps other businesses to sell faster in Amazon.
 

Ramon graduated from Madrid’s Nebrija University in Spain with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and post graduate in business.
