Case Study: Technology start-up overhauls Hiring Process to support company's growth

As per the client’s early stage in business, its primary focus was to grow its customer base and utilize the most of its resources into the achievement of this goal. Its Talent Acquisition team was not able to cope with the hiring demand and they lack of a robust hiring process. Due to this strategy, employee retention was very low and time-to-fill ratios skyrocketed. 
 
Second main issue was that client’s Talent Acquisition Team lack of knowledge to hire in international markets such us Europe and Latin America. With very little to no expertise, they used costly local agencies with different ways of working, leaving the TA team lost in hundreds of emails and miscommunications. This resulted in a low employee satisfaction and an increase in the cost-per-hire due to the intensive use of third party agencies.

Everything started with an assessment of the client’s current situation back in November 2019. Lagoon began working with the client’s Talent Acquisition team and develop a more efficient hiring process and standardization across different domains. Lagoon’s Technology Solution contributed to simplify and unify in one single tool all the communications between the client and Lagoon, from candidates reviews, to analytics or access to the talent pipeline. 
 
The Recruiting Process Outsourcing solution help the client to reduce by -32% its cost-per-hire ratio thanks to the reduction in spending on its own wages, software, hardware, infrastructure, 3er party agencies, among others.
